George Robert “Bob” Shepherd, 80 of Glezen, IN entered rest on Nov. 10, 2021 at St. Vincent’s Hospital in Evansville, IN. He was born on Feb. 1,1941 in Glezen, IN to George W. Shepherd nd Thelma (Willis) Oldham. Bob was preceded in death by his parents, a sister Annetta Coleman in 2021 and wife Gail Shepherd on June 17,2021. Bob was a member of U.M.W.A and a retired Coal Miner from Old Benn Coal 11, and very proud of his prison ministry at Wabash Correctional Facility. He was a member of the Glezen Revival Center, First Pentecostal Church and Living Grace Church. Bob is survived by son Steven Wayne (Keila) Shepherd of Winslow, IN, daughter Becky (Timothy) Blaize of Petersburg, IN. Grandchildren; Jamie Stewart, Stephanie Campbell, Tabitha Freeland, Ethan Shepherd and great grandchildren Kaytlynn and Courtney Tepe, Jessica Boudakian , Kalen and Breona Welsh, Nadya Bryant, Tobias, Tia, Teagan, Trevor, Tosha, Tamara Freeland, Shawn and Katie Campbell. Also, half-sisters Ginny Bryant Norton of Norris City, IL, Nancy Herom of Bushnell, IL. Funeral services will take place at 11:00 A.M. (EST) Tuesday Nov. 16, 2021 at Lamb-Basham Memorial Chapel with burial in Loveless Cemetery. Rev. Gene Burkhart, Rev. Eddie Willis, Rev. Ron Vickers, will be officiating. Visitation will be from 6:00-9:00 (EST) P.M. Monday and from 9:00 A.M. (EST) until services on Tuesday at the chapel. Family and friends may send messages of comfort to www.lambbasham.com
