Brian Reid Neal, 45 of Plains, GA formerly of Waverly Hall, GA died Monday, June 21, 2021, at St. Francis Hospital in Columbus, GA. Brian was born December 31, 1975, in Columbus, GA the son of James Clifford Neal and Elaine McGraw Neal. He was a former clerk with Taylor-Foster Hardware, Inc in Manchester, GA. Brian enjoyed trivia games, cooking and canning. His biggest passion was playing his guitar and he enjoyed playing with Aces and Eights and other musicians. Brian loved his family and was a loving uncle to all his nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his mother Elaine McGraw Neal, maternal grandparents, Bill and Betty McGraw and paternal grandparents Junior and Nellie Neal. He is survived by his father James C. Neal of Waverly Hall, GA; brother Brock Everett Neal and his wife Suze of Warm Springs, GA; sisters Stacy Dominick and her husband Michael of Plains, GA and Stephanie Havican and her husband Steve of Columbus, GA; nieces and nephews, Shelby Register, Karson Havican, Maggie Havican, Paige Neal, and Zack Neal; aunts and uncles with a special aunt Nellie Ray Kelly who was his caregiver for many years, and many cousins. Memorial services for Brian will be held 4:00 pm Thursday, June 24, 2021, at the Chapel of Cox Funeral Home, Manchester. The family will receive friends from 3:00 - 4:00 pm prior to the service at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers contributions may be given in memory of Brian Reid Neal to the American Kidney Foundation at www.kidneyfund.org or mail to American Kidney Fund 11921 Rockville Pike Suite 300 Rockville, MD 20852.
