May 8, 2021 at age 77 of natural causes. Born in Rochester, NY on July 8, 1943 to Aloysius and Eileen Donovan Kellman. Pre-deceased by her loving husband of almost 40 years, Ralph Joseph Adamo. Survived by her daughters, Eileen Rose (James P. Cotter) Adamo and Joan Elizabeth (Scott J. S. Steele) Adamo; grandchildren Elizabeth Donovan and Madeleine Mary Cotter; Alexander John and Thomas Joseph Steele; sisters Maureen Schueler, Claire Cordaro, close cousins Gerald Mullan and Sheila Root, plus exchange daughter Monica Albadalejo; many family and friends, especially the people she loved in her prayer groups. Mary studied at SUNY Morrisville and the University of Rochester as an organic chemist and met her husband while working at Xerox Corporation. She enjoyed with unparalleled enthusiasm the years she spent raising her daughters and then caring for her grandchildren. Mary had an unwavering devotion to the Catholic Church and led the Rosary at weekday Masses. She was especially dedicated to the Blessed Virgin Mary and attended daily Mass for over 30 years. Friends are welcome Wednesday, May 19th from 8:30-10am at the Dreier-Giltner Funeral Home, 1717 Portland Ave. Rosary (10:30 am) followed by Funeral Mass (11 am), St. Thomas the Apostle Church (SKT-LMC) 4536 St Paul Blvd. Interment Holy Trinity Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hope House (Webster, NY) or the Cornell University Feline Health Center (Ithaca, NY) in Mary’s memory.
