TOMCZYK - Dorothy (nee Gurgol) Of Holland, May 14, 2021; Age 94; daughter of the late Frank and Elizabeth (Krzeminski); wife of the late Felix; loving mother of late James, John, Donna (Chris), and Joseph; Cherished grandmother of Christine, Brian, Jessica, Justin, Jamie, Luke, and Trevor; great-grandmother of four; Sister of Anthony (Mary), Walter, Charlotte (Frank), Bill (Pearl), Violet (Sherman), Lucy (William), Helen (Stanley), late Martin (ultimate sacrifice on 1.27.45 during WWII), Jean (Walter), Sophia (Edward), Walter (Eleanor), Ann (Chester), Raymond (Shirley), Elizabeth (Carl). A mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday, May 21 at 10:30am at ST. JOSEPH’S CHURCH, 46 N. Main St., Holland. Dorothy lived a full life and enjoyed square dancing, baking, gardening, and playing cards. She was the life of every party, she showed her love through cooking and baking (especially with her beloved rhubarb), and had a love for life and laughter that was contagious. Dorothy spent most of her life living on her family farm and wasn’t afraid of a hard day’s (or life’s) work. She was a strong, independent woman with a generous heart and will be sorely missed by family and friends. In lieu of flowers, Dorothy’s family encourages memorial contributions be made to The Holland Fire Company or St. Joseph’s RC Church.May 14, 202105/14/2021
