Myrna Randall (86) of Mount Prospect went peacefully to her Heavenly home on Friday, May 7, 2021, after bravely fighting cancer. She was holding hands with her precious family and surrounded by their love. She truly had a servant’s heart and lived every day of her life for the Lord. Myrna was born in Chicago on July 13, 1934, the only child of Carl and Bernice Sandell. She was welcomed into eternity by her beloved husband of 48 years, Kenneth Randall. Myrna was the wonderful mother of Julie Carlson and Lisa Featherstone (Mark), lifelong friend and sister of Doris Matson Bauer (Arthur), and the cherished grandma of Lindsay (Ryan), Cary, Payton, Samantha, Tyler, Brian (Jade), James (Michelle), Caitlin, Carla, Rachel, and Rebecca. Myrna was an extraordinary 3rd and 4th Grade teacher for over 40 years. She was passionately proud of her Swedish heritage and was an active member, teacher, and leader at Northwest Covenant Church. Visitation will be held Friday, May 14, 2021 from 3:00-8:00PM at Friedrichs Funeral Home, 320 W. Central Rd, at Northwest Highway, Mount Prospect and her Celebration of Life Service will be held at 11:00AM Saturday, May 15, 2021 at Northwest Covenant Church, 300 N. Elmhurst Ave, Mount Prospect.
