Carmine J. Loiacono, 88, of Milford, PA passed away on November 18, 2020 at Bon Secours Hospital, Port Jervis, NY. He worked as a Longshoreman for the New York Shipping Association, Inc., Local #79 in New York, NY; was a member of St. Patrick’s Church, Milford and was a proud United States Navy Veteran, having served during the Korean War.
The son of the late Joseph and Anna (Danna) Loiacono, he was born on March 24, 1932 in New York, NY. He was preceded in death by his sons, Joseph and Vito and his sister, Rose Mule.
Carmine leaves behind his daughter, Christine Larsen; grandchildren, Alexis and Joseph; brother, Joseph Loiacono and his wife Grace; sister, Theresa Loiacono and the beloved uncle of, Philip, Joseph, Joseph, Jr., Zach, Lindsey, and Anthony. He was blessed with many beautiful friends, neighbors, and fellow veterans.
Friends may call at Stroyan Funeral Home, 405 W. Harford St., Milford, PA on Monday, November 23, 2020 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St Patrick’s Church, Milford, PA on Tuesday, November 24, 2020 at 10 AM with Rev. Joseph Manarchuck officiating. Burial will follow at Moravian Cemetery Staten Island, NY.
