Pastor Wesley King Walhalla – Pastor Wesley King, 48, husband of Rebecca Burrell King, passed away, Tuesday, July 28th, 2020 at Prisma Health Oconee Memorial Hospital. Born in Oconee, SC, he was the son of Verner King of Tamassee and the late Suzanne Crowe King. Wesley was the former owner of King Video in Pickett Post, and he was a good shepherd and pastor at The Potter’s House Church. Wesley was a very jovial, kindhearted, charming, and compassionate soul. Wesley is survived by his wife, Rebecca King; daughter, Gabrielle Lee of Rock Hill; brother, Brian King (Bambi Davis) of Tamassee; niece, Breanna King; nephew, Brady King; and several additional nieces and nephews. A celebration of life service will be held, 6 pm, Friday, July 31st, 2020 at The Potter’s House Church. The family will receive friends from 4pm – 5:30pm, Friday, July 31st, 2020, prior to the service at The Potter’s House Church. The family is at the residence. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Wesley’s memory to The Potter’s House Church, 311 South John Street, Walhalla, SC 29691.
