Kerry G. Bontos, Jr. 38, of Pembroke, died unexpectedly Thursday March 19, 2020. Born in Lynn to Elizabeth (Lisa) Darlington and Kerry Bontos Sr, Kerry lived in Lynn, and then in Pembroke for the last 10 years. He was a graduate of Essex Aggie, and became a Jack of all trades. He worked as a handyman in many different areas including car mechanics, tree work, construction, roofing and landscaping. He was always quick to offer help to anyone who needed help fixing or working on something. Kerry was very involved in planting and cleaning up Gold Fish Pond in Lynn. He was also a great cook, and he loved fishing and camping. Most of all, he enjoyed spending time with his loving wife Megan, his children, and his family.
Kerry is survived by his wife Megan (Huisken) Bontos, his children; Ebin, Mia and Caleb, his siblings; Katie and her husband Joe, Kieffer and his wife Sarah, Dakotah and his wife Nikki, Aleigha and her husband Jason, his parents; Elizabeth (Lisa) Darlington and her husband Winston, Kerry Bontos Sr. and his wife Dianna, his grandparents; Kit Paratore, Rose Dwan, George and Carol Bontos, his mother in law Nancy Navas, as well as many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. He was predeceased by his grandparents; Ray and Carol Whalen, Harold Darlington and Gerard Dwan.
Adhering to the current guidelines of the Commonwealth of MA and the CDC, funeral services will be private. A public celebration of life will be held at a later date. In Lieu of flowers, an account has been created to benefit Kerry's children at Lynn Community Credit Union, Care of Kerry Bontos Sr.
