Funeral Service for Ms. Peggy Hodge, 64, of Pell City will be Tuesday, March 24, 2020 at 12:45 p.m. at Rockford Church of Christ with Tim Hayes and Ande Zimmerman officiating. The family will receive friends from 12:00 p.m. until service time. Burial will follow the service at Rockford Church of Christ in Rockford, Alabama. Ms. Hodge passed away Saturday, March 21, 2020 at St. Vincent’s Hospital surrounded by her family. She is preceded in death by her parents, Albert and Runette Ivey and two sisters, Carol Sue Ivey and Barbara Joe Robertson. Ms. Hodge is survived by her children, Lacresia Hodge, Sara Zimmerman (Ande), Preston Hodge (Adrianna) and Hope Hodge, her grandchildren, Emma Zimmerman, Trenton Mitchell and Ashton Truex, her brother, Bud Ivey, her sisters, Betty Ivey, Mary Ann Thompson and Pat Nelson, her nieces and nephews, Margaret Pippin, Robin Merced, Ben Thompson, James Thompson, Tony Nelson, Kelly Nelson, Ethan Ivey, Will Ivey, Rodney Ivey, Adam Ivey and Shannon Grier and many great nieces and nephews. Ms. Hodge lived a simple and content life. She loved her family and loved life. She enjoyed reading and drinking coffee. She had many fond memories of playing with her siblings in the woods on Hatchett Creek Hill. She was a Licensed Practical Nurse from 1976-2001 at Adams Nursing Home in Alexander City. She had a really big heart and always viewed the world in a positive way.
