Our beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and friend left her mortal journey at age 86 in Murray, Utah on March 20, 2020 after living a life filled with service and love.
Krista was born in Provo, Utah April 12, 1933 to Joseph and Dorothy Nelson, the second of four children. She graduated from BY High School and then from BYU with a degree in elementary education. She married Dale J. Froelich, her sweetheart and companion, on June 14, 1955 in the Salt Lake Temple. Dale and Krista moved to Murray in 1960 where they have since lived and raised their 9 children.
Krista has filled her life in service and care for others and has a deep love and conviction for her Savior and her Father in Heaven. She served actively in many church callings. Together, she dedicated long-time service with her sweet companion Dale, in the Jordan River temple, as Conference Center tour guides and IMC Hospital Service Volunteers.
They served numerous missions together including Oregon Portland Mission, Thai Laotian people of the Salt Lake Valley, Rose Park Service Mission, Nauvoo Temple Mission and SLC Central Mission.
Krista loved spending time with the family visiting the family cabin and playing board games. She was well known for remembering people’s birthdays and lending a listening ear, always showing unconditional love to everyone she met.
