Donna F. O'Sullivan 76 of Gloucester passed away peacefully March 1, 2020 at home surrounded by family. She was born in Gloucester on December 7, 1943, daughter of the late Charles and Natalie (Née Thomas) Pratt. Donna graduated from Gloucester High School, Chamberlayne College and Salem State. She was a poet and historian who traveled throughout North and South America, Europe and the Mediterranean to experience indigenous cultures. She saw the magic of the universe, enjoyed genealogy, walks on Long Beach and giving history lectures about Cape Ann. In her youth she worked at Merrill Lynch in Boston. Leaving Boston, she returned to Cape Ann and for many years worked at the Beauport Museum, Project Adventure and as an elder care advocate. Donna was predeceased by her husband Hilary B. O'Sullivan of Cork, Ireland and her sister Carla Pratt. She is survived by her brother Charles "Rick" Pratt, her daughter Erin Lee O'Sullivan-Place and husband Scott and granddaughters Morgan Lee and Cayla Faith who had great walkabouts with their Memere. "It's a Divine dance, we have no beginning and we have no end". Donna’s services will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers a donation can be made to a charity of one's choice.
