<p>In loving memory of Daniel ?Dan? Viau, 68 years who passed away suddenly Monday, January 10th, 2011 at the Sudbury Regional Hospital. Beloved husband and best friend of Racheal (Matthews, née Patry). Loving father of Patricia (Daryl Campbell), Dominique (Robert King). Stepfather of Hervé Leclair, Jamie Matthews (Colette Miller) and Monique Matthews. Cherished ?Papa Bear? of Josée and Nicholas Campbell. Predeceased by his first wife Léona Leclair (Desforges) and his parents Omer and Robéa (née Kingsbury) Viau. Dan was an avid fisherman who enjoyed the outdoors and had a generous spirit. He worked for Loeb Warehouse for 29 years before retiring in 1998. At Dan?s request there will be no visitation or funeral service with cremation followed by internment in Whitefish Catholic Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations (by cheque only) may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Ontario.
