<p>Passed away after a brief illness at the Glengarry Memorial Hospital, Alexandria, on Wednesday, September 30, 2009. Johannes (Hans) Boekhoff of R.R. #1 Glen Robertson; age 45 years. Beloved husband and true soul mate of Margaret Boekhoff (nee St. John). Loved and cherished father of Iain and Cameron both at home. Loving son of Johann and Anneliese Boekhoff and brother of Heiko Boekhoff (Linda) of Ste. Anne-de-Prescott and Anne MacLaurin (Ian) of Ingleside. Hans will be remembered and missed by his many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, in-laws and friends in Germany and Canada. Relatives and friends may call at the Munro & Morris Funeral Homes Ltd., 114 Main Street South, Alexandria (613)525- 2772 on Sunday, October 4, 2009 from 2 to 5 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. A celebration of Hans’s life will be held at Kirk Hill United Church on Monday, October 5, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow in the Church Cemetery. For those who wish, memorial donations to the Glengarry Memorial Hospital Foundation, Brain Tumour Foundation of Canada or any health related charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
