<p> Joyce Krecker, 90, of Kenosha, passed away peacefully on Friday, March 11, 2016, at her home with her family at her side.</p><p> Born in Kenosha on March 19, 1925, she was the daughter of the late William and Sarah (Totts) Kiekhoefer. Joyce was raised in Kenosha and was educated in local schools.</p><p> On October 5, 1957, she married Walter Carl Krecker at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church. He preceded her in death on August 6, 1992.</p><p> Joyce was first employed with Wisconsin Bell for 12 years before moving to Elgin, IL to take a position with Illinois Bell/AT&amp;T for 25 years, retiring in 1982. She was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church, Kenosha Public Museum and the Telephone Pioneers of America. She also enjoyed doing cross-stich, crocheting, knitting and cooking.</p><p> She is survived by many loving nieces and nephews.</p><p> She was preceded in death by two sisters, Vera Dwyer and Sally Voorhees; and a brother, James R.
