<p>Gowan, Edith passed away peacefully on Thursday October 17, 2013 at Mount Nemo Christian Nursing Home in Burlington. Edith is predeceased by her husband Norman and son Bruce; survived by daughter in law Maura, grandson Mark (Valerie) Gowan and granddaughter Jennifer (Barry) Gowan-Johnson, great grandchildren Parker, Adyson and Logan. Predeceased also by brothers Wilfred and Vernon and sisters Marion and Maude. Funeral service will be held at 12 p.m. on Monday October 21, 2013 at Fawcett Funeral Home – Creemore Chapel with visitation one hour prior. Interment at Creemore Union Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations to the Creemore Cemetery or Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated. </p>October 17, 201310/17/2013
