Barbara K. Benvenuto (nee Jud), age 81 of Lanoka Harbor passed away on Saturday October 30, 2021 at Robert Wood Johnson Hospital, New Brunswick.  Barbara was born in Long Island NY, and graduated from Hicksville High School.  She received her RN from Brooklyn Methodist Hospital School of Nursing and worked in the nursing field from 1961 until her retirement in 2014 from Lacey Township High School.  She loved to crochet and enjoyed giving Afghans to friends and family.  She was a gourmet cook and loved hosting dinners, especially Thanksgiving. Barbara was predeceased by her son Paul, her parents Helen and August Jud, brother Paul Jud and her sister Arlene Sibrava.  She leaves behind her husband of fifty-nine years, Gerard (Jerry), her daughter Karen J. Longo, and her husband Robert, brother Tim Jud and his wife Donna and grandchildren Casey, Corey, Liz, Hannah and Lucas. A viewing will be held on Thursday November 4, from 5–7 pm at Riggs Funeral Home 130 Rt. 9, Forked River.  Interment will be Friday at Good Luck Cemetery at 11:00 am.
